Guinness Golf RecordA gripe with a lot of UK Golf Guide reviewers is slow play on the course. We’re pleased to see Pastor Bob Kurtz taking pace of play very seriously in setting a new Guinness World Record for playing 1,850 holes of golf over seven days.

While many will look at this landmark and think 14 rounds of golf a day for a week – that sounds like fun – might want to consider the tolls taken on Kurtz’ body as a result of this monumental effort. Beth Carpenter, Kurtz’ daughter added “We used Band-aids, then Second Skin, then wrapped them,” she said. “He told me that it took him about three holes to get where he could feel his putter.” More >
