Brandt SnedekerGolf is a sport focussed on numbers, whether it is putts, greens in regulation or even distance hit off the tee. For Brandt Snedeker it was more a case of how many zeros could he add to his bank account following his victory at Bobby Jones’ old stomping ground East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia in the FedEx Cup. In holding off the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Justin Rose, Snedeker has not only raised his stock making him the man to beat at Medinah for the Ryder Cup but also saw him rise to a career high 10th in the World Rankings.

While many would expect someone with a bank account more akin to an African dictator to spend his money on gold-plated golf buggies, the quiet man of the PGA Tour is more likely to make prudent purchases on his way to global golf dominance. As Brandt is probably a little busy at the moment we’ve decided to put together a shopping list of things he could spend his $11.44 million on (circa £7.5 million) – whilst we can’t guarantee they are good investments, if we had the money we’d 100% buy these to improve our golf game.

Lough Erne
Golf Course –

A very important acquisition for any golfer looking to improve their game. Snedeker will no doubt be seeking a major victory before long so he should look no further than Britain’s best ever golfer, Sir Nick Faldo, who designed the critically acclaimed Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh which is currently up for sale at a price of £10,000,000 – whilst this is slightly over Snedeker’s winnings for the weekend – we’re sure it won’t be long until he chalks up some more prize money to be able to afford his very own golf resort – complete with hotel, Thai Spa and breathtaking golf course!
