Seve BallesterosThe Seve Ballesteros Foundation is proud to present Viva la Vida, our flagship event, which for 2011 will serve as an official tribute to the great Seve Ballesteros.
On Wednesday 14 December 2011, the golf industry and guests will join event ambassador Paul McGinley at the stunning Natural History Museum in London as we celebrate Seve’s life and the very special mark he made on the golfing world.

Golf professionals, industry experts and corporate supporters will be treated to a champagne reception, decadent dining, sporting entertainment and the chance to bid on some money-can’t-buy auction items.

There is also the unique opportunity to see some of Seve’s private trophy collection and view unseen footage of the great man in action.

“I am truly honoured to be an ambassador for his official tribute event, Viva la Vida, which will help raise money for Seve’s Foundation in aid of Cancer Research UK.

“I’ll always remember Seve for his compassion, personality and dedication and am looking forward to honouring and celebrating his unforgettable career and life through this fantastic event.” – Paul McGinley

Last year’s event saw big names from the world of sport and entertainment turn out to celebrate an amazing end to the 2010 golf season and raise an incredible £450,000 for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation. Highlights of the event included the Seve Ballesteros Foundation’s golf awards, a Q&A with Darren Clarke and Matteo Mannasero and the live auction which provided plenty of entertainment in itself.

A staggering £100,000 was bid for the ‘Legendary Bag of Clubs’, which comprised a full set of clubs, each one owned and signed by a different legend of the game including the likes of Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player.

Viva la Vida 2011 is set to be bigger and better so please book early to avoid disappointment.
