Golf4HeroesCalling all golf clubs! In association with the Battle Back programme Your Golf Travel, Europe’s largest golf holiday provider, and the Telegraph are aiming to find 1000 golf clubs to sign up to Golf4Heroes.

The Battle Back programme is a tri-service initiative that is aimed at using sport, among other things to help in the rehabilitation of injured servicemen and women and Golf4Heroes is seeking to provide these heroic individuals with the opportunity to play golf free of charge at 1000 golf courses in the UK, Ireland and across the globe. So far 120 golf clubs have shown their support for this worthy cause but we are still some way short of our target of 1000.

Golf4Heroes is asking that golf clubs consider the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women and volunteer their support. All we ask for is two complimentary green fees per week that our wounded heroes can use to increase their participation in golf between Battle Back golf trips and clinics. These roaming rights would go some way to thank Britain’s bravest golfers for the their bravery and sacrifice on behalf of our country so why not sign up now?

Last year Your Golf Travel facilitated golf trips to La Manga and Draycote Hotel and Whitefields Golf Course and this year a party visited Villaitana Resort in Spain. Back closer to Headley Court there is regular tuition and trips to the local driving range to improve golfer’s skills. As well as the work Your Golf Travel is putting into the Golf4Heroes scheme we are also supporting the National Golf Club Challenge that raises money through golf for the Help for Heroes charity.
