People's Open GolfGolfers across the UK are invited to take part in the People’s Open Championship Challenge. The event, which is open to Amateur golfers, will see the top 60 qualifiers do battle around the famed Royal St George’s Golf Course in Kent. With 7 regional qualifiers taking place in June and July 2011, competition will be fierce to secure a place in the final and in turn play for their chance to be crowned the People’s Open Championship Challenge winner.

Qualifiers take place at the following venues across the UK –

Marriott Hanbury Manor, Hertfordshire – 21st June 2011
Marriott Meon Valley, Hampshire – 22nd June 2011
Donnington Grove, Berkshire – 16th June 2011
Marriott Breadsall Priory, Derbyshire – 12th June 2011
Marriott Worsley Park, Lancashire – 13th June 2011
The Vale Resort, Vale of Glamorgan – 28th June 2011
Marriott Dalmahoy, Edinburgh – 5th July 2011

Entry costs £60 per person and includes Coffee & Bacon Rolls on arrival, 18 holes of tournament golf, two-course lunch with prize giving. Those wishing to stay overnight and include a round of golf can do so for £120 including their tournament entry.
